I have sketched out the development of several additional, Legni-compatible font families to expand the scope of this project historically and internationally:
Holzblaeser Family
The Holzblaeser family will include wind instruments from prior to the 19th century including classical and baroque precursors to modern woodwinds.
Bois Family
The Bois family will include wind instruments from the 19th and early 20th century including romantic and early modern precursors to modern woodwinds.
Maderas Family
The Maderas family will include international variants of modern woodwinds such as German-system clarinets, Buffet-system bassoon, etc.
Mokkan Family
The Mokkan family will include experimental modern woodwinds such as the Kingma-system flute, the Howarth-Redgate oboe, etc.
